Kellee Weinhold is a former newspaper and magazine editor, publisher and journalism professor. Although she realizes most people can't relate, Weinhold not only loves writing but looks forward to slogging through the details in search of that perfect word, phrase and image.

"I love the power of the language, and part of utilizing the power of language is engaging with its basic components," she says.

Weinhold is also an active writer. In March 2008, her personal essay "My Morel Dilemma" was a finalist in the 2008 Northwest Perspective Essay Contest.
